Spring has Sprung!

PHEW! A long and cold winter has resulted in going WAY further than planned... but rewardingly so! The intension was to clean up the 4A but being one who is unable to let things go for long it was pretty much determined that the body needed to come off. This helps with a few issues that need to be resolved: Wood being the prime one. Also, with the rear clip off it is easier to get at the bolt stubs that need to be taken care of - the stubs from the petrol tank bolts that needed to be cut off to get the tank out. So with the help of the "Boy" we were abel to lift the back end off with ease. More as work is done...

The Happiest Man of the Year!!

Well, so far.

Congratulations to Robert Moreau on his 1948 A Series "Moreauster"/"Frankensinger" display at the 2008 Montreal Car Show! He was surely in 7th Heaven... which coincidentally was the name of the floor where the show starts and where the Roadster could be found.

Robert is definitely an excellent ambassador for NASOC and Singers. A tireless advocate of our favorite marque, he has manned the show almost every day always at the ready to answer questions (you know the ones) and pose for the camera. Pity that the Lamborghinis are parked so close and the Singer draws all the attraction... well a good portion anyway!

An ad-hoc mini-meet took place with Robert setting up a few of the local enthusiasts. Mugging for the photos in white are Robert Moreau, Lori Sellor, Larry Doyon, Phillip Avis and yours truly, Paul Bouchard.
